Our partners

"NFU has always believed that family farmers succeed when they have strong, resilient communities — and that means making sure everyone feels welcome in this work. Our partnership with Open Fields Alliance reflects that: no one should have to farm alone, and our movement is stronger when it makes room for everyone in it."
Rob Larew
"Agriculture is at its best when everyone has a place at the table. As part of Farm Credit's commitment to rural communities and agriculture, we're proud to partner with Open Fields Alliance on their work to foster inclusivity across the industry."

FAQ
What do corporate partners get?
Annual Conference registrations and a tabletop exhibit, discounted student registrations, employee resource group programming delivered by Open Fields Alliance, a speaking slot on a community webinar, and internship and job access across a national network of LGBTQ+ professionals in food and agriculture. Higher tiers add executive visibility at the Annual Conference and custom programming.
How much does sponsorship cost?
Year-round partnership runs from $5,000 to $50,000+ across four tiers. Annual Conference-specific sponsorships are à la carte, from $1,500 for a networking break to $7,500 for the welcome reception. Community event sponsorship runs $1,500 to $5,000. Open Fields Alliance also builds custom packages for organizations whose needs don't fit any of these.
Is this a DEI program?
Open Fields Alliance's affinity programs exist because LGBTQ+ people are already part of the food and agriculture workforce — farming, running businesses, leading organizations, and building the future of this industry. Our programs create space for them to connect and grow into leadership, which strengthens the entire sector.
This isn't a compliance checkbox. It's talent retention and a leadership pipeline. When people have community and a real path to grow, they invest more deeply — and that benefits every partner connected to this work.
How do we start an LGBTQ+ employee resource group?
Open Fields Alliance delivers employee resource group programming for partners at the Gold and Platinum levels, and our affinity groups are where people running these compare notes across companies. If you're earlier than that, start with the Annual Conference — the sessions on building a resource group are the most-attended ones.
